Melinda George - Vice President & COO, National Commission on Teaching & America’s Future
My photographic portfolio spans the gamut from shooting for corporate clients all over the world to shooting people or products just down the street. In the studio or out in the field, I’m truly comfortable shooting in any situation and am completely versed in the sometimes tricky sensativities of working in developing and developed nations alike.
I’m still working on developing the gallery for the site, so in the meantime, please visit my Picasa gallery to see samples of my photographic work by clicking here!
I’ve worked in nearly 20 countries across Africa, Europe, Asia and SEA. This extensive experience means that I know exactly how to prepare, travel and produce whatever my clients need wherever and whenever they need it. There’s a lot to know and understand about working on location and in remote parts of the world. What gear to pack? What to leave at home? How do you get around once you’ve landed? What cultural sensitivities do I need to be aware of? What are the unique aspects to my clients relationship with their partners abroad? I have extensive experience in working in remote areas of developing nations and know how to get the job done anywhere I’m sent.
In addition to creative work for hire, I also produce art prints, books of photography and – soon – will be publishing my work of historical satire (you can start reading that here!). Available now is my first book of photography from my work around the world. Now available from Amazon!
